Replying to Afterbangs on pow?

Ok so i might be going to banff (not sure which mountain yet) for march break and I realized I dont have pow skis, with the chance that we get pow.. Would I be okay skiing pow on my afterbangs for a couple days? Or would it be shitty and just fall every minute and shit.. I really have to ask this because i've never really skied pow, I live in ontario and my home mountain(hill) is really small and is 90+ man made snow so I dont have a clue about pow..
