Anyone excited about the new chair on Mittersill or do you think it will ruin the back country feel? Anyone going to be going up at all this year? I know Cannon is not super big for park and stuff but i think it deserves its own thread! Cheers

cannon is even better this year with mittersil and the park usually isnt that bad.  compared to loon or mt snow it is but i liked skiing it last year

damn havent skied cannon in awhile, i cant believe they put a lift to Mittersill. Could be sick but it def ruins the backcountry, the hike wasnt that bad

fuck that lift at mittersil. i skied cannon for 17 years and i really dont like how they already have a lift over there. there was some great stuff over there, and there still is, but people are going to be finding a whole lot quicker than even before. i still plan on hiking because im stubborn.

my family still goes to cannon every weekend, but ill be there after xmas and anotehr weekend or two throughout the season. hopefully their park is as good as it has been in the past, but better

not a fan of the lift at mittersill ruins the backcountry feel for sure....skied cannon for years def dont ski their to ski park but kills most mtns in NH for as far advanced as terrain goes...ill be up there a few times this year for sure gotta love cannon!!!!

I only ski at Cannon haha. I'm super stoked about all the snow we got, and since this is my first year (after 6 of teaching there) that I won't have to go there to work so I'll be able to sesh all fucking dayyyyy sup

cannon got 2 feet easy all the trails are open 2 mini parks one with jumps its looking sick all xthe trails are open come on up

I'll be there tomorrow! Pipe cleaners, white and purple jacket. I might be skiing or snowboarding, probably skiing. Ive never been, so I'm really pumped. Anything that I should definitely look out for? trails, parks, etc.

theres soo much snow! its amazing!! 2 plus feet!
the glades are awesome...ill be in a saga vest...purple jacket and green or blue snowpants....ill looks for ya dave...maybe show ya around...but its awesome....pack warm though

we decided not to go because wind chill low was -20 and cannon is always colder than they say.

yeah and instead i was skiing in my yard down a snowpile trying to hit a super sketchy piece of wood i set up as a box.  not nearly as fun

today was so sick! best day at cannon i've had in years. FACESHOTS WERE HAD

i def. saw a couple ns'ers, two sitting under the zoomer chair and a few others around, i was riding rossi steezes with a old red and white siver jacket and brown oakley bib pants with bright orange full tilt booters

lev, i'm jealous. after skiing today, i could only imagine how good it was yesterday.

I tried to find the open patches on mitersil facing the lifts that you showed me a while back and got so lost. Ended up boot packing back out from where I came from for about an hour. Never again without a tour guide haha

monday was amaziing!!! today went to gunsite it was awesome but spent 2 hours trying to find it hiking through the wooods......ill be there tomorrow in a saga vest... green pants andyellow crowbars say hi if ya see me i dont have ne1 to ski with which is depressing srnce iv skoed cannon my whole life.. .......o YEAH!!! i saw the meatheads filming today!! talkedto them for like 10 minutes there so chill

Anyone know if the cliffband between the tramline and the rest of the trails can be skied? Obviously you would need a lot of snow but it looks like there is a sizeable and pretty steep runout. I haven't heard of anyone doing it and wasn't really sure if there are any trails cut up to or out from it. Thanks.

nearly every trail is open and mitersil opened today with the lift.  chris (cgski3)said he skied some bc stuff this week and i found some unmarked glades and they had great cover

yeah thats bear guy....needs lots and lots of snow.......i skied mitersille today.....really heavy......id wait until it snows more this warm weather sucks....but they werent lying when they say they like 4 feet...there was a tun of snow.....but yeah if you skied unmarked/ not popular stuff like gunsite...wiskey barrel....saddle sore...bunny direct....and way left on mitersille it was amazing all week until it got warm......there gunna start snowmaking on the park this week too........ILL post a VIDEO sometime this week.....of last week......but if any u guys are every there and see me just say hi anill show you around......if theres snow

can someone make a push to the mgmt to get a ski the east freeride tour at cannon this season? i overheard some talk of it but it could be real sick and i need more excuses to get to cannon
