Looks better, and anyway you would have to sign in again and the page would just re-load. Minus well just change pages...

it reminds me of a magazine cover because at the top right corner it says "whats inside" and on the picture it says the skiers name and the location and the photographer

no way? mine just changed today. I don't really like it because it's really putting emphasis on joining when some people just want to come and check out pictures/ videos or whatever.

We just re-enabled it as default. The splash page is the way it used to be all the time since like 1999 when the site started!

So this is actually old school. :)

I love the splash, and I always thought it was a bad decision to scrap it. So its back!
