So, first off i must say i hate doing this thread since gear talk is full of threads like this.
Second I really need some help since im lost in the jungle.
I ski in Sweden and we have like 4pow days all year (where I live) if i can call it powdays.
85% park skiing, 5% exploring jibs, 5% going fast and doing 3's off bumps, 5% butters.
Im 6'2" and weight around 178lb and im the typical parkrat (expert?).
ATM i skii on the AR6 08/09 and im superstoked in the ski. But my edge is starting to fall off, and thats probably a hint that i need a new pair of skis.
Im more the type of guy that likes to do butters and slay rails rather than killing myself on a 80foot jump.
But its not like I only do rails..
So what should I get?

check out the volkl walls in a 185, they softened them up a ton since the first came out, super buttery, and a ton of fun, 87 at the waist, symmetrical.

I was considering to just go with the AR7, but isnt it ALOT stiffer this year?
Ah, I had 2pairs of volkl a couple of years ago and it was the biggest piece of crap ever.
So Im not really that into Volkl haha

its the same stiffness as the alpha 1's which is a significantly stiffer than the halos which are really soft skis

Hmm, ive never tried the alpha1's or the halos and a little hard to compare skis at the moment since its a two hour drive til the closest skishop that has Armada now.
Someone who can compare it to the AR6?

its jsut an all around better version of the ar6, there's new technology in the ar7s which makes throwing the ski around easier and its lighter.

Volkl Wall is super sik, fully symetrical and is a great jump ski. Also the K2 Revival it is a solid jump ski and it has K2's new Jib rocker, If you are more in to Jibbin den you might want to chek out the K2 Domain. And then there is always the Line Afterbang.
