My Dad's running for Montana senator! Check it

This is somewhat of a repost as my little brother posted a thread to "like" my Dad on Facebook. But my Dad officially announced he's running back in November. I'm super stoked along with the rest of the fam.

Check out his website http://www.stevedaines.com and if you agree with his views or you simply don't care then you should help him out by "liking" him on Facebook ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Montana-Needs-Steve-Daines-for-US-Senate/122213134489825 ). +k for helpin him out!

Also, if you disagree with where he stands politically you don't need to post in this thread saying where you stand politically by saying something to the effect of "Oh, I'm definitely NOT liking your dad on Facebook because..." I understand people have differing views on politics and I respect them for that but for this thread if you disagree just simply keep it to yourself. Thanks NS!

I have not clicked the link you posted, but if I lived in Montana I would not vote for your dad because of this post. I would not trust a man who's son does not know basic grammar and uses the word "dogg".

UPDATE. Just read the post, here's some thoughts:

Your part Norwegian, making you part awesome.

All female members of your family are extremely good looking.

The family pictures on the website are so cheesy it's not even funny.

Since your father is running for senator you should tell us what its like to be involved in this, and what it is doing to your dad as a person.

i've been led to believe that you sell your soul essentially and starting basically advertising yourself to the broadest group of people possible while talking to them like they are 5th graders.

Lastly, can I personally sock your dad in the face if he doesn't be awesome like Al Franken?

Also what will your dad do to work together? Will he ever pull an Obama and let the democrats have what they want, so that he can get what he wants passed? (e.g. the bush tax cuts deal that was just cut). I would also like permission to personally sock your dad if he doesn't be awesome in this category as well.

I really expect awesome youtube videos of your dad on the senate floor, and jon stewarts jaw dropping on a daily basis with just how much ass your dad kicks in washington.

how old are you guys, for once can people just stick with the theme of the thread and not talk his mom and sister? 

I agreed with just about everything he has under "Where I Stand" section, and I totally didn't expect to.  Except I'm pretty sure he's anti-abortion, and I think women deserve that right to choose until a certain point.  I like the points on repealing Obamacare, limited government and reducing spending.  Specifically I'd like to see some more specifics about his career in the business world.

Also, on more beef, how on EARTH can you except people to vote for you when all you tell people about your politics is a couple hundred words, that contain nothing but vague ideas and a few simple facts. "We need to create more jobs..." "We need to be free..." Blahblah. There is nothing concrete in that whole page about how to fix any of this! "Obama is bad..." "Too much government.." That's not at all specific! How will he pull it of!?

And don't give me no "Well he's a republican so he obviously following their line.", because that ain't worth shit either! There are TWO goddamn political parties in your entire nation, that is almost retarded! It just creates an extremely confusing situation for people when 5-6 different people within the same party can have 5-6 completely different opinions on some matters.

Steve put himself through college at Montana State University and graduated in four years with Highest Honors with a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering. Following graduation from MSU, Steve left Montana to work for Procter & Gamble

I'm gonna go ahead and say no to that.  Especially in Montana, my uncle goes there specifically to hunt.  Maybe in an urban setting people might be sketched out by that, but def not Montana..which is where the only people are that would be voting for him.
