My shop has both the AR7's and the pipe cleaners, and I'm trying to decide what to get. Sorry for making a whole new thread, but I have not seen anything on the 2011 pipe cleaner. I ski about 80-90% park (GO PENNSYLVANIA). in the park, I'm about 60-70% jumps and 30% rails. I love my AR6's, but feel like I want something just a tad stiffer. Tell me what you know. THANKS.

I have the Ar7s and I love them, center mounted them and they feel great!
The difference from the AR7 and AR6 is that they did make the AR7 stiffer =)

what kellen was trying to say was that the ar7s would be a better fit for what you described than the pipe cleaners... he just wasn't being very nice about it.
i concur, go with the ar7s

my buddy had them last year and loved them, and didn't ski pipe at all. from what I can tell, the only thing that makes them a pipe ski is that they are a little stiffer. The dimensions seem very similar to my AR6's. correct me if I am wrong (which I probably am...).

The 2011 pipe cleaner is softer than the ar7, e-mailed armada and they said so, then managed to flex them in person too. They have a more even flex in the tip and tail too, compared to the ar7 wich is stiffer in the tail. If you want a stiffer ski go with something like the s4 or the wall. I bought a pair of ar6's and sold them strait away cause they were too soft for me.

yeah, no I totally know what you are talking about. I was just explaining that even though they are supposedly a pipe ski, they work nicely in the park.
