ok well the mainstream media is anyway (FOX, CNN, even ABC...) they seem like they are liberal becuase like many others have said, they cover controversy so that people will pay attention to the media but there is more to it then that. think about it, all men who own these news channels are rich republicans! they don;t care about much of anyone, all they are about is being rich republicans! wouldn't you think that they would make the media biased twards how our country is doing right now, aloways optimistic about the situation (if possible anyway). the thing is that there is really nothing that we can use exept for facts/info from the lesser known media that shows this, but if you just think about it for yourself, withought any info (becuase like i siad you can;t really get any info on this) it makes sense, these republicans who own the news channels, want their oppnions enforced...

Being rich does not mean you are republican. In fact some almost all of the hollywood rich, are stongly liberal because they dont care about paying higher taxes. Have you ever wondered why foxness is killing all the other cable news stations. because foxnews is the only one with a couple conservatives on, while everyone else is all libreal, with very few exceptions.

opposition to the war in iraq qas about 40+%, yet you were 90% more likely to see someone in favor of the war (notibly generals and retired generals) commenting about it that those in opposition to the war.

It's about perspective or view? I think not. It's fact. It's cut and dry. The media is biassed. It is ran by liberals. Their views in no way represent the views of the rest of the party, but are those of corporate leaders such as Ted Turner.

Fox News, however, is biased also..if you will.
It is conservative and does favor a more conservative take on things. Although it does try to balance things out a little more by adding different views into the mix.

Yea i understand everyone has personally bias, its impossible not too. Unless you have no brain or opinion. But you cannot generalize by sayin the media is completely influenced one way or another!

i think that his second post was actually prutty true. I jsut think that he media and everyone in general is not too liberal. the medial is 'liberal' if you will but in no way would i consider any old democrat liberal. i am willing to bet that juat about the only reason those people are 'liberal' is becuase if they have to be in public, they like public places to be nice, and not all trashed and shit. also, I posted this thread to be a dumbass and it seems like i have achived success!
