Look px 12 and boot wear

so i can't figure this problem out with my look px 12s. so it seems like they have to be really tight to get the forward pressure indicator to show correctly (~half yellow ~half not). and when i have them tight enough for the indicator to show correctly, it seems like they are rubbing the toes of the boot right above the sole. does this make any sense? I didn't get these skis mounted anywhere close to hear, and they are being adjusted for a different boot (mounted for like a 330, being adjusted to a 315, plenty of room on the track. I can try and get pics up soon.

have like 10 days on the setup BTW and wear is noticeable. my old boots wore out, but this seems way too soon to be seeing any wear, right?
