Replying to Recommend me a ski thread #34568

Hey all, my parents just offered to help me out with a new pair of skis this Christmas because I'm a desperately poor college student who's been on the same skis for five seasons now. Badass. Now I just need to figure out what to get, which is tough because I've been out of the market for so long. That's where you come in.

Here's the deal. I'm six feet tall, 150 pounds. I live on the Ice Coast. I've got that whole all-mountain thing down pretty solid and I ride my skis hard, so I need something that isn't gonna puss out. At the same time, even though I'm REALLY bad at it, I've been loving the park the last few years, so I want something that's lively and can hold its own on jumps and rails. I spend a pretty equal amount of time on the mountain and in the park. Finally, price range... my parents are helping me, but they're not exactly loaded, either so I don't wanna go much over $400 if I can help it.
