K2 Domain CRACKED edge

Just wondered if this happened to any one else, i was using it on rails & it cracked in 2 places under foot.

Ive emailed K2 but i dont think they will do much about it?

It's a ski that's designed to fucking slide on snow and you blasted it down a metal rail sideways.


Do all mountain skis mean you can send 300 foot cliffs to uphill granite without them breaking since they're on the mountain? No. Don't be an idiot. Either have a dedicated pair of rail skis you plan on breaking continuously (because they WILL break) or just stop hitting rails if you don't want to crack your edges.

No they didn't warranty them.
It sounds like they sold him a pair at wholesale cost. Basically if you beat the piss out of your skis, manufacturers will often offer you a good discount on another pair as a goodwill gesture. Basically it's a crash replacement. It's better for them to give you a discount on a new pair of skis than to have you buy from another brand.
