exactly. and the booters are new for this year so most likely no one has much experience with their new, wider design this early in the season.
in my personal opinion, you should never buy a boot online unless you are replacing ones you previously had in the exact same size. boots are the most important piece of equipment for skiing (yes more important than your skis because skis don't have to be comfortable) and you have to try them on with a professional bootfitter before you buy.

i just got them. i tried on dalbello voodoos and rampages also. i had enough money for anything but it seemed like the full tilts were on another level of comfortability especially after heat molding an intuition liner. But ya dont buy for looks

didn't really care for the buckle system. Did they have to make them like that for some reason or did they just want them to be different?

I picked up the booter a couple weeks ago. Ive only gotten to ride in it once. It was super comfy. I got it heat molded, and i switched from old atomic racing boots to these, so anythings going to feel good i guess.
That being said, do NOT under any circumstances, buy a boot online. Go to a boot fitter and spend an afternoon trying on boots. Pick the one that feels the best, not that looks the best. If the booter works for you, then you got your self a solid boot

I have had about six days on my booters, from urban to big mountain, and they are great aside from a few issues. The Biggest problem i had was that the middle buckle wouldn't stay down when the boot flexed out. I Unscrewed the buckle and moved it back into the second hole and it seems like the problem is fixed. The only other problem i can see is my edge tearing up the plastic on the forefoot buckle, as that plastic feels pretty soft. The flex to me feels just as good as my old bumble bee's, even with the different shell it is still smoothe and doesn't bottom out. The 4 flex tongue it comes with is perfect for park and urban, but its too soft if your gonna be charging lines and riding crud. I like a couple things better than my old bb's, one is the buckles. They arent the type that move on a track like the regular FT's use, i always broke those. The buckles are also way way easier to replace, as they just screw out. The only thing worse is they feel a bit sloppier than my bb's, which may be because my foot has more room.

Some of this years booters have the problem of the middle buckle not staying down,I think you can return them for new boots or full tilt sent out some spacers or something like that? Contact full tilt and they will fix it up for you.

there was an issue with the middle buckles not staying closed when the boot is flexed. take the boots back to your dealer and they will have a shim that will correct the problem

I actually just moved the buckle back into the second hole and its working fine. Its a nice boot when the buckle works.

i have 3 days of riding in on my booters, they are super comfortable because i have wider feet and these are a wider fitting full tilt boot. I would deffinately go to a bootfitter first get a good, comfortable boot for you and dont go with the way it looks. If it fits then great because they are deffinitely an amazing boot.
