I am looking into a small DV cam for next year. i was wondering what the people on this sight have, and how much they got it for.

i have a sony dvr trv22 or something, i got it for like 500 dollors, its pretty good for its price

^ Nice...errr...icon? If you have the money, look into a Canon GL-2 or a XL1S, actually no I am only kidding those are 2,000 and up! Something like the smaller canon dv's and sony's are commonly used by people on this site. Your best bet is to ask a few guys like offtrail and H30films who both use cameras for skiing throughout the entire year.

canons are the shit, i only own one NON canon, and thats cause it shoots 24p

check the canon optura/elura line...very good quality in an affordable price range

Hibachi King drops 9/9/04...and it shouldnt suck! hah

i think the compact consumer sonys shoot better than the compact canons. someone was trying to sell one in nonski gabber, search back a few days or a week or something.
