What angle file guide?

Looking at file guides, and wondering which angles are ideal for both side edges, and the base edges.

Got some race skis, as well as a pair of on3ps.  So I guess race and powder..

i dont know much about race skis, i race ski cross and am just learning more about race tuning
i've bought two pairs of gs skis used, for skicross, and they both had 1degree on the base and 3 on the side, this was also recommended by my shop guy

i havent heard of people putting a bevel on not race skis, but i could be wrong

as far as tools go, i like and have heard good things about svst base guides and siwx edger pro for sides, or something else with the rollers for side angles

I wouldn't think that putting a bevel on park or pow skis would affect the skis performance in a bad way ya know? But thanks again. +k

get an adjustable angle edge file guide, they're worth it.

^ this and around 88 87 for normal and depends on what dicapline of racing you do
