Polo by Ralph Lauren..
And I was joking when I made this thread (which is now 4 pages hahah), but I think Polo has serious potential to enter the freeskiing market. If you haven't noticed its already getting extremely popular amongst college kids. Plus even black people are starting to wear it, which means, according to previous trends, it will soon become a fad in freeskiing. Check out this rap song...(admit it its catchy)...(possibility for use in an edit???)...
From Wikipedia....on the recent popularity of Wayfarers...
Wayfarers were brought back into fashion in the late 2000s when celebrities including Chloë Sevigny and Mary-Kate Olsen began wearing vintage frames.[20][21] Ray-Ban designers soon noticed that vintage Wayfarers were commanding high prices on eBay,[19] and the 2007 re-introduction of the original Wayfarer (RB2140) design aimed to respond to the demand.[13][19][22] (As of 2007, Wayfarers were available in Original Wayfarer, New Wayfarer, and Wayfarer Folding styles.[23]) Ray-Ban's marketing strategy was threefold: a return to the sunglasses' original, rebellious design, an "edgy" advertising campaign and "high-profile PR events", and the use of new media like MySpace to connect with consumers.[24] Sales in 2007 were 231% greater than in 2006 at Selfridge's London;[8] as of October 2007, the Wayfarer was the Luxottica Group's third-best-selling style.[25] As of July 2008, sales had increased 40% over 2007.[8]
As of 2008, the Wayfarer model is available in a wide variety of colors and patterns.
And here we have a little bit on the Rugby line, launched in 2004 that targets 16-25 year olds....
Rugby Ralph Lauren is an American clothing brand launched in 2004 under the management of parent company Polo Ralph Lauren. The brand specializes in Preppy/Rugby inspired lifestyle apparel for male and female clientele ages 16 through 25.
"A fad, sometimes called a trend, meme or a craze, is any form of behavior that develops among a large population and is collectively followed with enthusiasm for some period"
-Wikipedia
Sounds a lot like Wayfarers and Ralph Lauren brand clothing, which, as you said, are currently going through a "surge in popularity."
the first thing you do is ....only 450 or 630 on or off of large features
safety grab, tail grab, skis wide knees bent hands low
,You do not hop off a stupid down rail and huck a sloppy ass spin off a rail with your legs straight like we all must agree is happening to much.
why do people huck ridiculous spins off down rails two feet off the ground, its disturbing.
Your saying its the worst argument ever because you can't admit your wrong. Your not even arguing with me anymore...your arguing with wikipedia....
you think that wayfarers and polos have always been hugely popular
and wikipedia says that they're going through a surge in popularity
