I don't think they'll give you a refund for a core shot..

i don't think they'd give you a refund period. for anything. ever.

warrenties dont cover damages caused by rails, rocks, stumps or any other thing that you hit and it damages your base. either add ptex to it on your own or take it to a shop to have it fixed.
you can try to sell it as a used ski and then buy some used walls or throw down a little more money to get the new walls

they most likely would give you a refund period, it's WAY cheaper for them to give you a new pair of skis than it is to give you your money back, especially since you most likely bought them at a shop for twice what they sold them to the shop for (if not more), and it probably cost them half of what they sold it to the shop for. So, giving you a refund would cost them 75% of the retail cost of the ski.

i was refunded 300 of the 375 i paid for my 08/09 suspects after the got destroyed on rails. the first shop (small local) i went to said it was a waste of my money to pay to send them in and then tried to charge me a $30 "handling" fee for putting them in a box. I then took them to rei, where they sent them in without charging me shipping, even tho i hadnt bought them from them. couple days later i get a call offering me 1) a new pair of the next years suspects or 2) the $300.

my advice would be to try. everything ski related ive ever had warrantied in my life i was told wasnt going to be covered at first. although now i realize of course a shop is going to tell you they wont be, as they want you to buy a new product from them.
