i kinda won a contest in Lego Magazine (hell yeah i was a subscriber) where you had to make a plane for indiana jones and take a picture of it.

so i did, got third place, won a pretty sick indiana jones lego set worth 50 bucks or so.

i was pretty damn pumped

if you get on the a or b honor roll back in high school you get invited to a presentation thing where they draw names for prizes. my friend was choosing people he thought were going to win. well he chose me and said he gets 10% of whatever i win. then i won a free activity pass and i told my friend he could run 10% of my mile in track in the spring.

in 8th grade i bought two tickets for a gift basket fundraiser, and there were three giftbaskets to choose from. kids were putting shitloads of tickets into some of the baskets, i put one into one (a 100$ giftcard to sportchek, a basketball and two gatorades) and one into another (a 50$ mall giftcard, 1 louis vuitton wallet and a bunch of other girls stuff) and lo and behold i won both baskets i put one ticket into.

LOLFEST at the kids who spend $40 on tickets

I won "Win Some Free Sh!t" from SBC SKIER Magazine.

A TNF suit, Faction Thirteens, K2 helmet, Von Zipper goggles, and Technica boots.






Oh, and a three-day cat skiing trip.

I blew my knee up on the skis, gave the helmet and goggles away, told them not to send the boots, and still have the suit.  And i've been back to the cat-skiing operation twice since.
