uploading pic -help!

well I am trying to upload a pic in my profile but it won;t work! I have a pic of my that is 22.6kb and ti is a gif! why is this not working???!!

won't work for me either, and mine is less than 10K. also tried an image link with html but that definitely didn't work

jpg...lowest quality. if it's in photoshop, use save as for web.
