Looking for vice/clamp to wax skis

Looking for 2 vices for a christmas gift. The person im giving them too has a work bench so all i need is 2 vices to hold 2 skis at once to be waxed.Looking for something cheap as i dont like the person that much......

I have a similar need, how do u wax skis without a vise? My other question is does anyone know how good toko vises are, I can get one for like 90 bucks but it isnt specifically for waxing so I don't know what to d

click the boots in so the brakes are out of the way, put skis on sawhorse, then wax.

uhhh, this. i've never used a vise to wax, such a waste of money. i've clicked my boots in or used the rubber band method then just put the skis on some saw horses or something to support the ends (i've used kegs and garbage cans as well).

i did see a really cool idea once, a guy took a cardboard box and cut out holes in the top to support the ski's, then used rubber bands to hold back the brakes and put skis on top. worked perfectly. just need a box big enough that you can cut holes in for the bindings.

We used one in our factory for a little bit, then got frustrated and sold it. We use blocks of 2x4 topped with some foam (I think the kind used in weatherstripping, we had to try a few brands to find the best gripping stuff).

If you have a workbench thats primary use will be waxing and scraping skis, use this method - cheap, replaceable, and if really hate the ski moving a little;
