yah, Canada probably has the best snipers in the world, i forget what theyre called, the Royal something, or something along those lines. but other than that, our air force is horribly out of date, but our pilots are damn good nonetheless. and our navy isnt anything to brag about either.

Guys, let's face it... the Canadian Navy is a bit of a joke. I mean, we bought USED SUBMARINES. How do you buy used submarines? You go to other countries' garage sales? Braveheart wasnt real.... The war was but it wasnt as it wasnt accurtly dipicted in braveheart. I dont think Canda have best sinpers, im sure that sorta thing isnt let out and made public. And f-18s are old school its all about the f-22 raptors.

Canada kicked ass in ww1 and ww2. In ww1 they took vimy ridge,(don't quote me, it's been a while), when the french and americans lost like 100 000 men, Canada took it with a few thousand. And in ww2 the Canadaian were ones to take the their section of beach first and start inland. Im sure my data is inacurate with some things but the major points are true.

Canada has the best sniper unit IN THE WORLD. They are all quebecers as well.

Its kinda funny because Canada DOESNT KILL ITS OWN TROOPS, like some countries, cough, USA.

WW2, and WW1 we were considered the best, and bravest soldiers, bar none. In fact, wait a second, we kicked US ass in the war of 1812, so fuck off. We arent gun totin morons with only to kill and maim on our minds(see 3 kings).

The Canadians took a major role in the two world wars, whoever asked about viny ridge (sp.?), its correct- we went there with school. However, although they did break through with a few thousand, the loss of 1000's of french and american soldiers certainly had softened up the area.

with all respect to the Canadians guys, but in the days of trench warfare the chances of winning were only determined by numbers; nut by cunning or courage or whatever. For the brass, warfare was a lot easier those days. no armour, almost no airsupport, no heavy infantry weapons; only the fact they had to make up excuses every time another couple of hundreds thousands were sent into the artillery and machinegun meatgrinder. Thats also why they weren't very popular those days, compared to WW2 for example.

Trojans lost due to the most famous deception in military history. However, they never faltered until that point. Spartans always gave the greatet fight they could. Its not whether they lost or won, its how they met that end.

I don't know why nobody's mentioned the 1st squadron of the 9th Cavalry of the 1st Air Cav division in Nam. The 1st of the 9th had more than 50% of the kills of the whole Air Cav who had something like 70% of the kills for the US in that war. As far as units go, they were pretty damned hardcore.
