He put '94 lace sensor pickups on the apple strat, which is why it sounds more pristine and processed. His black strat has the original pickups minus the Seymour duncan on the bridge, which is a '79.

THAT is the difference between 60's made strats and the rest of the Fender line. That's why they go for $20k.

Not a fan of lace pickups. Never were really...

I thought his black strat currently had a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 in the bridge, stock 69 in the mid, and a custom wound SSL-something in the neck?
