Another Crowbar Lenses question

Hey guys !

I've just sold my goggles and I need a new pair. I want a Crowbar, and I see 3 different lenses.

With wich lenses could I be sure that you can't see my eyes (I know that you can't with the Dark Grey, but I don't know with the 2 other lenses) ?

Last question, are the Dark Grey also good for snowy days ? Will I see the relief, and just a bit darker ? Or will I see nothing on the slopes ?

But, different lenses depend on what light your going to be in. The higher the percentage, the more light that is let in. So, if it's grey out, having a lens with a high percentage is going to be best. While if it's going to be very bright, something with a low percentage is the best option.

However, what lens your after depends on what goggles (if any) you have now. If you have a "clearer" lens, go for a darker lens like the fire iridium, and so vice versa. If your looking for something in the middle, I suggest a Persimmon lens. I use that everyday I ski.

So, basically don't choose a goggle on if your eyes are going to be seen from the outside, but rather what conditions your going to ski in.

Not sure what lenses you were looking at because your links dont work for me. I'm rocking a black iridium right now on my crowbars and I love it. So far its been great for sunny days and worked surprisingly well on a really cloudy day.

Okay, just one last question.

I think I will take, the grey polarized, or the dark grey.

Simon Dumont wears the grey pol in Revolver ? Can we see my eyes thru this lens ?

And what's the best for all mountain days beetween dark grey and grey pol ?

I have the dark greys, and you can see through them good, even during late afternoon.

You can't see your eyes through dark grey or grey polarized. If u have the cash grey polarized is a super great lens fir

Fail sorry. Dark grey is a good cheap solution but both lenses are best in bright conditions. Maybe think about saving the cash and get dark grey and a pink iridium, hi yellow, hi persimon for those dark days. Hope this helped.

i have three lenses

fire iridium is good for sunny days and thats about it. cant see eyes though

pink iridium is good for most days but can slightly see eyes

yellow hi vis is good for flat light days but will burn ur retners out if any sun comes through

Really ?


I want murdered out Crowbars, or Splice, so I think I'll take Dark Grey, and another lens for cloudy days...

Any other suggestions ?

sorry to thread jack but how is persimmon when it gets sunnier out? i am getting some crowbars and i dont want to buy a second lense
