they work well. It's different on every radio though. Putting the ipod in the car window next to your antenna doesn't necessarily give it the best reception. It gets the job done though. Occasional crackles.

Get a car charger with it because the ipod's battery gets drained a lot faster. it seemed to also help reception and get rid of all the little crackles for me even if the ipod was already at 100% charge.
