Shouldn't this be titled "how does your dad decorate your home to show your christmas spirit"?

Let me get a +1 from anyone who is actually hanging their own decorations, and I don't mean helping out, I mean YOUR ass is up on a ladder with a beer and a staple gun.

As for personal decorations, I can't say I partake anymore as I no longer live with the rents. However, when I used to live at home we had the standard Christmas tree with colored lights and a LOT of ornaments that had been collected over the years by the folks, even a few skiers. Also, wreath on the front and back door, a candle style light in each of the windows, fake pine bows with a string of lights on one of the beams in our kitchen, and my Mom's massive collection of Santa figurines on the mantle over our fireplace. And of course the music from the Nutcracker playing 24/7. Ah, good memories.

I make all kinds of Christmas treats for the family to enjoy. We put lights on our house and the big trees in our front yard. Obviously we decorate the house with a wreaths and lights 'n shit..exoect my room because I can't sleep with a lot of light.

We decorate the REAL tree with lights and other ornaments. Also instead of putting a star or santa on top of the tree, I will be putting a picture of Anathema.

my house usually isnt all that christmassy.. but i always spread christmas cheer by putting those wood raindeer in questionable positions in everyone elses yards
