99.9 percent of people who change their profile pics will not donate. Got it? Maybe that percentage is a little high, but I don't think it's too far embellished.

not saying awareness is a bad thing, it's a good thing. but the solution doesn't stop there. anyhow, posting your photo as a classic cartoon doesn't make anyone any more informed about what child abuse entails or how to help prevent it (which you CAN do, in my opinion, without having to donate to some charity).
it's better to be actively aware (eg. knowing the signs of an abused child and who to talk to, or knowing how to do a self exam for breast cancer.) than passively aware (eg. changing your photo or posting your bra colour )
sure the cartoon thing is fun, but if people think they are actually doing something about child abuse they are wrong
