Anyone have some advice on a camera to buy? I want clarity and a sharp picture but I dont want to spend to much money. Which format should I get (hi8,digital,etc)and should I buy one on ebay or a used one or should I buy a new one?

how much do u wana spend, I would buy a cheap digi cam. alot better then digi 8 or hi 8, u can find cheap ones for as little as $599 u.s.

find a lightly used sony vx-100 or vx-1000 and buy a good fisheye and wide angle and youre golden
