pipe should be about done within a day or two, and since snowmaking is done on peak 7, we can now focus on snowmaking on the bottom of park lane for your enjoyment. hopefully all will go as planned for the new freeway/dew tour course! pics to come soon!
no exact dimensions so people dont sue us. if we say a jump is exactly 25 feet and then they hit it and break a femur, they can sue you because it wasnt the exact dimension, so we always give a ball park estimate of the size.
Because little joey in a texas tuck would know the exact speed to hit a 76.5 foot stepover. Fucking people in the US are so dam sue happy. bummer that it is a liability risk to say exactly how long a jump is from lip to knuckle.
So are you sayig that the Dew Tour park will be open for the rest on Monday or are they going to tear it down so there will be no Freeway for us on Monday?
FREEWAY IS OPEN! as of today at 11:45 am, free way is open top to bottom including the pipe and all 4 jumps. more rails to come soon, once we all get some much needed rest after the 90 hour work week we all just put in for the dew tour.
ps- sorry about closing the down tube at the bottom of park lane today, that was not our call. it was apparently too low and dangerous to open, according to ski patrol. hopefully it will be moved up a few hundred feet and be hittable tommorow, more jibs to come soon.
What do you all think of the jumps, freeway and park lane!
park lane jumps range from 20-50 ish feet
freeway jumps range from 50-75 ish feet.
freeway halfpipe is 22ft
we also have bonanza medium park, eldorado small park, and gold king half pipe (14ft) open on peak nine, as well as park lane, freeway, and also trygve's small terrain park on peak eight.
our forecasted skier visits tmrw are ridiculously high, so good luck in those lines at the bases, but most people should go home after this sunday.
have fun out there, and dont forget your sunscreen!
technically bonaza is considered medium park, a step in between eldorado and park lane. we are still trying to get those bonaza jumps perfected and add a few more jibs as well.
2 new freeway rails were set this morning and another 2 will be set tonight:
Down flat rail
flat down box
down flat down rail
last one not sure yet.
