Boot/Re-mount question

Right now, I have some 27.5 Salomon boots, but I'm thinking about buying some Full Tilts. If I buy Full Tilts (say for E.G size 27.5 or 28), will I need to get my bindings remounted?

naaaaaaaah just check your shell size (in mm) they should be about the same...all you need is a screw driver to maybe adjust the heel to fit. the only thing would be if you went up a size and your binding was to the end of the track already, in which case you would need a re-mount

Not nearly enough information.

What bindings do you have? If you have FKS you're probably going to need a remount. px series, jesters/ griffons, sth etc, you probably wont. But maybe.

compare the BSL of the 2 boots and post it here.

I have px12s. There isn't a track on them. And I'm only asking just to know what to expect.

there might not be a track, but there still is a foward pressure adjustment, if you're within a few mm in boot soles, you should be fine

As long as it is within about 4mm or less you should be alright unless the forward pressure is maxed out already.

the heelpiece has a track for forward pressure, and it adjusts quite a bit in px12'a, regardless of how they are mounted to the ski. Depending on which version of px12's you have it is either a wormscrew adjustment or a tab. Either way, dont fuck with it, You should just take them to a tech because you obviously have no freaking clue what you are talking about
