Will skiing suck this year if i just got new surgery

i got surgery on my knee this summer i had a torn acl and meniscus i do my physical therapy everyday and everyones got a different stroy telling me not to or to go skiing this year

I think it depends of how badly your knee was and what kind of operation you got
My friend got on skis 3 months after and he blew his knee 1 again 1 month later and can't do park anymore(well not much) and even if the doctor said it was ok
While I know someone else who did wait 1 year and was ok.

I think your doctor is the one who know it better than anyone else...
And I would recommend wearing a brace or something to protect your knee... like a hard one.

im 5 and a half months out of surgery (i had it at the beginning of this summer), i just went today to take my hit test, which i passed. However im only allowed to ski groomers, and maybe some pow in february. i am pretty disappointed that i cant just ski to my full ability this season, but hopefully i will be good to go by next season.

Work hard in pt, and the gym, Get ur quads, hamys, and glutes strong.... and then take it slow when you get back on the slopes and u'll be as good as new....goodluck!

not to be rude, but this is like the fifth fucking dumb thread ive seen in a month on the same topic. im not saying "searchbar" or whatever bc i dont care. LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR DONT ASK A FUCKING ONLINE FORUM. hardly anyone on here (despite lots of personal experience im sure) is qualified to give you this sort of advice
i know from tearing my own acl that its nothing to fuck around with. Its usually about 6-9 months some (ie Wes WElker) can do it in less but he is an nfl athlete. All im saying is follow your doctors orders which typically are rehab and do what you feel comfortable with along the way.
