so im going to try and re-tell this story as best as i can, as it happened to a friend of mine. you may recognize me from some of my troll threads, but i can assure you this is not a false story.
This happened just a few days ago. my buddy (andy, 19 years old) works as a closing janitor at crystal mountain ski resort in WA. since he was employed late this year, he didnt receive any housing and had to drive a treacherous snowy trail 20 miles home at about 3am every night. during heavy snowfall on his way home with a co worker a few nights ago, he noticed headlights pointing up about 50 feet below the trail, so he stopped and ran down to check it out. some guy had rolled off the trail and was barely clinging to life. andy pulled him out of the car, called 911, and proceeded to give him cpr until the ambulance came. "he would have been a goner if it weren't for you kids. you're heros." the ambulance driver said. so everyone got in their cars and the ambulance sped off into the snowy night. so andy and his friend were carefully making their way home thinking this might be the craziest thing thats ever happened to them...but a few hundred feet down the trail, he noticed another set of headlights, so he stopped again and trekked down to find the ambulance had slid off and rolled about 100 feet down into a creek. so him and his buddy called 911 (again). they opened the door to discover the driver had been decapitated, and the others in the car were in critical condition. so once again he pulled them out, did cpr, and waited. this time a helicopter came and air lifted all the injured people...what a night eh? everyone except the driver lived. all in all, andy saved 4 peoples lives in a 3 hour span. this hasnt gotten any recognition in the news so i figure he needs some kind of praise.
**sparknotes- my friend saved 4 peoples lives during a blizzard at 3am
