an app that creates different fonts for different emotions while texting. Like there would be sarcasm, angry, sad, sexy, as well as Ben Stein (bored/monotone) and Willie Mays (overly excited/yelling)

If you were the first one to publish that app you could make some good money but that being said I've heard like idea from like five people who all claimed it was their own, including a comedian on Tv talking about "sarcastic font." So its safe to say its already out there.

I had to do it for a project in highschool and we had to spend hours researching the topic to make sure that it had not been done before or was not in the process of being done. It wasn't just 10 minutes and the project ended up being worth 30% of my final grade which i ended up acing thank-you very much.

And east, calmly keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle and go fuck yourself

Yea I did the same thing. And the only reason my idea wasn't done either was because it was stupid. It was a band saw safe glove with ceramic plates that the teeth just ran over and couldn't cut your hand. Another group that had "the best" project, made a system that could make any speaker system wireless. It was my buddies and halfway though making it they found it to be already done. Search patents too, doesn't mean it already has to be a product. No trying to be a negative nancy but It super hard to come up with an innovative product. The rest is marketing though so any idea can work if done right.

true true, but don' t they already have the saws that will break themselves when they touch human fleash rather then cutting you? I know that it sometimes fucks up though when cutting wet wood

I have one... With a rather small investment (say around $5,000) I believe it could be worth around (~$100,000) realistically. But there would be opportunities to expand from there.

my friend had took a class where you have to think of 100 business ideas and then narrow it down to the best one, just shows you that there are infinitly many profitable business ideas, really its about putting the idea into action in the correct manner rather than the idea itself.

not really an invention but a new way to toast bread items. Its like a conveyor belt that goes through an oven or toaster that also happens to slice bread and bagles for you.

I know quiznos has that sort of oven. But I'm talking like small like a microwave or a toaster oven. And it has a slice option as the bread or bagles pass through on the conveyor belt.

An opposing indie music site to Pitchfork. It needs to be done, and it has a place. Local scenes as well as classic indie would be reviewed. It would be a joint network of music reporters and critics working as a collective on one site, rather than by newspaper or alt rag like SLUG. And yes, there would be an app for that.

I'm already working on it.

Thought of this with a buddy about 4 years ago: Family Safety Ignition (FSI)

Using the same the technology that is already in car keys where there is a chip that the vehicle recognizes beyond the shape to start the vehicle, have the chip program different performance settings to the ECU for different drivers. Say a father who shares a car with his kid, the fathers key will allow the car to perform at its highest capabilities while the sons key will govern the car to say 62 mph and a reduced acceleration ability. You could have several keys for different people and easily reprogram the key to increase/decrease performance when desired.

Just saw it in the news a month or two ago that Ford is introducing this very feature, kinda pissed at myself for not doing anything with it, but it was just too expensive to try and pursue.

Doubled Sided Peanut Butter Jar

when you finish peanut butter you can never get all the shit off the bottom. So when close to the end of the jar you unscrew the opposite end and BAM you can scrape out the rest of the peanut butter
