I hope your joking.
Things that I consider a must:
-Ipod (Helps you push through, just incase you get in a situation you don't want to be in)
-Orange Juice, or some sort of Vitamin C (enhances your trip)
-Definitely what you said, a pen and paper (you can get really creative!)
- Glasses (any kind that cover your eyes, just in case)
- If you smoke weed, bring some! (personally, I like to smoke weed when I peak, makes it 10x better)
-I also recommend bringing a labtop, Macbook if possible, the LCD screens look really cool!
(maybe also have an internet source to look stuff up on the internet, videos, images, ect...)
So yeah that's pretty much all you need to have a fantastic time, and of course, a buddy, NEVER trip alone, haha, thats kinda a given though.
I also thought I would supply with a list of stuff that you should NOT bring:
-Any phones, watches, or sources that connect you to reality ( I realize this contradicts what I said about internet, but that's different in my opinion)
-Anything dangerous that could cause harm to you or any of your surroundings
-Your Wallet, just incase....
-Your car (dont drive and trip)
