Heres a piece that I did for my writing class/school paper. What do you think?
She’s lonely. I can tell by the way she finds true love at the first attractive male she sees. The way she latches on and refuses to let go, making an adamant last stand against the coming loneliness. The morning comes, the man is gone, and she lays alone. The same empty feeling, the same empty bed. She conveys a sense of happiness, yet a sense of fear lingers with each passing second that she doesn’t have a companion. The I-Love-You’s and the I’ll-be-with-you-forever’s mean nothing. They are said so much, that she sees nothing in them but empty promises and broken hearts. She tells herself that she doesn’t care, but still searches the night for her true love. But wherever she looks, and however desperate she gets, he never comes. Her man seems to be on a different world. Trapped between reality and her own imagination. You’d never be able to begin to comprehend the emotions she keeps bottled up. No one will. She searches for her Prince Charming, her very own hopeless romantic, to sweep her off of her feet and carry her off to a life lived happily ever after. But, as all of us do, she will find someone. Someone just like her. They share the emotion, the pain, the struggle, the sadness. And at the end of the day, she’ll find that shes not as lonesome as she thought she’d be…
