i'd rather see a kid spanked or hit than tortured like that. a spanking causes a brief bit of physical pain and it sends a message (assuming the child isn't being beaten without mercy). forcing a child to sit under a freezing cold shower while he's screaming and crying is just insane. it's like holding a childs face underwater for 30 seconds and letting them come up for air, and doing it again. sure, it's not going to cause them physical harm (provided they dont suffocate), but that doesn't make it any less torturous. and the fact that she is taking pleasure in watching this child suffer for an extended duration as she yells at him is sickening. she's got a problem in her brain and needs psychiatric help.
beat, obviously not, but hit. no problems with that. i got hit as a kid. i'm going to hit my kids. i guarantee it. but i will not torture them, or cause any kind of physical damage. people need to be tought to understand that there's a difference between right and wrong, that your actions have consequences, and they aren't just little princes and princesses who can do whatever the fuck they want.
but yeah, what arabian said. prolonged agony is disturbing and there's something wrong with a person who can do that, especially to a defenseless child.
