I think Ashley aside, the majority of NS is some fucking pussies.

My Mom was never really mean to me, but my Dad spaaaaankedddd my ass, then put soap in my mouth.

One time I brought home a doritos wrapper from school and my Dad found it(this is when I was a hugeee porkchop) and was like, "what's this Stu?". I lied and said it was my sisters. He made me eat an entire box of cookies, and a 6 pack of coke at like 830 at night. I'll tell you what though, I never ate junk food at school and brought home the wrapper.

I think someone should call child services, and get that kid outta there cause this women has mental issues...yes, I do understand the need for disciplining your children, I was spanked...sometimes with a belt/horse whip, but the hot sauce and cold shower will without a doubt cause pscycological damage in the long run

yeah for real. i never had any issues like that and i really healthy. my parents just had me around good food my whole life, and i just followed their example. if you want to see how impressionable kids are, just watch how they follow their parents political ideologies. (myself included)

I watched this whole show on Dr. Phil last week. It turns out that this kid is actually adopted from Russia. If his mom keeps this up his whole life hes going to end up punching her out and just leaving. At least that's what I would do. She also has a daughter, that is her actual child, and she gives her the same punishments.

Although i disagree with some of nugget's philosophies on raising a child i do think he has a valid but overstated point. To quote my self from a teen suicide thread " We need to teach our kids to stand up for themselves so that they put their fist in someone else's mouth not a gun in their own" The baby boomer generation had a semi hard bringing up so they in turn spoiled their kids which is a major reason the our generation has been nicknamed "generation Why try". JK i am not very educated on this subject so i may be spouting lies like a congressman. But thats just my opinion.

I think that, whilst being extremely strict and punishing kids in somewhat cruel manners can be an effective way to raise a kid to not be a cunt later in life, it is probably not the best way to do so.

I was beat/spanked plenty growing up, it just made me afraid of my dad, and i am still a cunt today...

There are ways to raise kids to teach them to not be little dicks without inflicting physical/psychological pain upon them.

everyone is so soft these days. It's cold water for like 20 seconds and some hot sauce, harden the fuck up he probably learned his lesson: Should have listened to his teacher. My parents have done the same stuff, it doesn't mean they don't love him they just care enough to give a shit about him doing bad in school. He'll grow up to be respectful and thankful for his parents discipline.
