no, it's real. I was reading about taht picture, because it was nominated for some awards, and it's a rela picture, but it IS a dolphin. if you need proof, lok at the fin pattern of a shark. It's missing the fin that is between then dorsal and tail.

its obviously not photoshopped because if the animal (whether shark or dolphin) weren't there, the surfer would be diving into the wave, because the wave is starting to curl which would cause the surfer to flip back up w/ the wave so...yeah or maybe my theory is wrong and I'm just dumb

i was body surfin and i saw a bunch of fish in a wave before it was pretty cool. The picture isnt photoshopped. The shark/dolphin is crooked cause of water refraction and the surfer doesnt have to punch through.

It's a dolphin. Dolphins are mammals remember? A shark is a fish, in a manner of speaking. Fish's tails go side to side, dolphins and whale's tails go up and down, they used to be limbs but over time evolved into one fin they could use to propel themselves. This is pretty basic here people, most people know this. Just look at it's tail, its obviously not going side to side otherwise its silouette would be a lot bigger.

so? Its underwater, Water ahs a refractive index, the light is bent as it enters the water and then again as it reflects back into your eye. Of course its going to be distorted. Plus the added fact that it looks (to em) hat the dolphon is diving or is deeper underwater nearer the head which would furtehr blur it as the water isnt sparkly clean.

But its an anenome. I agree.

i had something very similar happen to me in byron bay australia a few months ago. the dolphins ride the same waves as you do it is crazy to surf beside a dolphin. very fun experience
