K2 Domain 169 cm, help.

Im 5'9'' and im thinking about buying the domains in 169 cm, cause 179 will be too long for me. Is it a good choice, and if youve already tried them, please give me a feddback.

Your pretty much stuck their bud. 169s would be too small especially with the early rise, but 179's are huge for someone whos your height. They do have rocker though and your going to center mount them, so you could get away with 179's if your still growing. If not, then ?

bro i got the 169's and they actually measure out ta be like 173.. there longer than they say..if that helps

Thanks guys, if they feel like 173, thats pretty much my length. Its just because i got a really good deal on them, and theres only the 169s left...

I am 5'9", 145 pounds. I ordered the 179's and they were wayyyyy too long for my taste in park skis. Of course I could ski them, but I want my park skis to be level with my height.

I sent them back, and got the 169's, and the shovel cups my forehead.

I went to Mount Snow this weekend and they tore it up, and they were a lot more stable than I could have imagined. I was unsure about the size at first, but after skiing them, I can say that they will not hold me back.

I still have ride mine, but I'm in the exact same situation as you. I'm 5'9, 150. I bought 169 which are actually 173, they are as long as my 178 rossi S3. They'll do fine, I'm sure.

You'll probably be better off with the 169s, I'm in pretty much the same situation and I'm rocking the 169s this year cause the 169 is more like 173 and the 179 is more like 182...which is way to long for me in my opinion.

disregard what i said earlier. I'd get the 169's. I was at the shop i work at looking at revivals so a similar ski size/height wise. I'm 5'8 and I would have got the 169's if i were getting revivals, the tips were at my forehead, 174's were huge. so yah get the 169's.

Oh yeah, the 169 domains are almost the same size (~1cm shorter) as my 178 octolands.
