I just looked at their page but i'd like to hear it from other people.. how is the gulch etc right now? im thinking about heading up there in the next few days, wanna shred some rails.

also how much would a lift ticket be right now? im not getting a pass this year

45 for a lift ticket. The setup is dope. It gets pretty bombed out at the end of the day but thats only on weekends.

Carinthia was great on Saturday. It's pretty much, mini shred paradise top to bottom and they've got some good cruisers open right now if you want to carve it up. I paid $55 for a early season lift ticket, it's normally $79. If you want to get some good skiing in this early in the season then it's probably worth the trip.

excellent, im convinced- i'm gonna head up whenever i can in the next few days. any jumps up yet? no big deal if not, i'd be happy hitting a down and dfd rail all day, i wanna get all my rail tricks back

It was really fun, probably the fullest opening weekend park... although my legs were KIILLING after one run... and i only did a few railslide, combination of just recovering from a broken arm paranoia, and how fucking sore i was all day, because i haven't been doing anything the past 3 months..

ive rode mt. snow for yrs and they still need bigger rails i hate to hate and i know its realllllly early season but i saw someone post ",mini-shred paradise" even though they said they are planning on it it doesnt look like they are getting it. i dont mean another gay box rail. they need to look at loons rails and steal some ideas they dont have any single barrel round bar rails, rant over- some people who ride it on the reg gotta agree

When they did that survey, the first thing i said for suggestions was that my home mountain had a 32 ft flat bar that isn't super long, but can be a fun somewhat of a challenging rail

yep, agreed completely. ive ridden carinthia the past 4 years and love it, but it is true they lack big harder rails. they have some fun ones but i want bigger rails that are harder to even just clean. like you said places like loon have had some rails they should take note of- i havent been to loon in a long time but that big teardrop (rainbow +down basically) was so sick. i think the biggest rail snow has had in a while is that bigger updown, the one that ian compton 270 - pretzel 4s in some video. that rail was fun.

why is it such a crazy thought for parks (in general) to have a 4kink rail? it doesnt even need to be tall and dangerous, just have some more kinks and length. i mean, even if it was tall and sketchy it'd still be less/equally dangerous as the biggest booters in inferno..

carinthia is way legit. there starting off with smaller rails and working up as the season gets going. its definetly worth it. ill be there this weekend forsuree!

unfortunately for my wallet, i graduated college this spring. might just not buy a pass and just buy lift tickets wherever i go instead so i can spice it up, but then that would mean i can't show up to the mountain at 2 anymore..

worth it or not is a personal opinion.

i drove all the way from long island  to go there for the day on Saturday. Had a great time, worth it to me.

The park was pretty good, decent amount of rails/boxes setup...no jumps and the groomers were kinda boring but i thought it was good!!

the drive isnt a worry, i like driving a few hours. 55 bucks for a lift ticket seems sort of dumb but oh well. i'll probably go anyway. are the (good) rails spread out or up high? i might just want to hike..

they are spread out from top to bottom. $55 did seem high too but f*ck it i said. I paid $55 for killington opening day and this was better than that and no hiking was required.

rails were the only thing i wasnt able to do until i went there. Since there were no jumps, steeps or glades i did them all day and got the hang of it now.
