Corrugated Pipes? Is it possible?

Are they hard to slide? It seems like it would be easy for skis to get caught up in them.

it all depends on the person. some people have a really hard time with them, some people dont. i suggest trying it and if you catch an edge, either dig your up hill edges in, or give up on them.

Normally it doesn't matter but I'd look out if it was wide corrugation as I've found it is very easy to let your edges drop in a bit and you go cartwheeling!

yea pretty easy to do, really good for butter switch ups... just watch out because you can lose a ski once in a while on them.

theyre the best things to slide in my opinion.

Fucking love corrugated pipes, so much fun, i like the sound they make too hahaha.

my fave trick a few years back was 2 on/out of corrugated.

I hit a gypsy park at hood with a lot of corrugated. the guys there had all sorts of insane shit set up. there was a down flat that was super fun because you could lock edge and spin out super easy. also there was a side kink thing. it went right to left. super fun

im scared of them too, but iv hit them when there's been some ice buildup between the ridges, and it was pretty sweet. i love fat rails like that; pontoons, etc

lies. its like a foot massage with every hit.
we have a giant one where the ridges are like 4 inches deep and it even slides really well but its so loud you can hear it all over the mountain.

They slide, but only if you are careful not to catch your edges in the grooves. I tried to hit a short down corrugated tube, basically caught my edge and the tube bounced me up like 4 feet, and I then fucked my self up by landing completely on my back on ice. I had the wind knocked out of me for like a minute. Bottom line: they slide, but be careful

so much fun and easier to hit than rails because they arent as fast so they are easier to stay balanced on.

plus they feel so good on your legs

I thought the exact same way when i first saw them. But when i finally did, i learned how to sw up both ways and 270 on in a night or two on it. There super fun
