Found old camera equipment......is it worth anything?

I have found the following items in my dads old photography bag. I was wondering if they are worth anything. The pictures go in the sequence i list them. Please let me know if this is worth much.

1. Rikenon 1:2 f=50mm RICOH lens
2. Minolta 1:17 f=55mm MC ROKKOR lens
3. Minolta srT101 camera
4. Soligor 1:6.3 f=400mm lens with sunshade

Not really man, I think you could scrap around $100 for the entire set.. Glass is fairly slow, and the SRT 101 isnt worth much.

It's worth more to you to shoot with than it is to sell.

I think even 100 might be a little optimistic. There are used camera stores by my house i could buy all that for 100, and you know they hugely inflate what they paid for it.

I shoot with a fairly similar setup pretty often though, and it's really fun. If i were you I would start using that stuff.

yeah either buy a little bit newer camera or if that one is in good shape shoot a little on it and see how it is, or if you have some sort of digital slr buy a cheep adapter to fix them on digital and gives a really nice cool effect.

What are you talking about? I'd much rather shoot medium format then take that glass and get an adapter for a digital camera.

I found a similar minolta zoom at my parents house that was my grandpas, it looks nice and adapters are about 20 bucks, i might just go for it and use it with my 35mm setup, i almost bought a nikon version of the exact lens.

yes shooting medium format would be fun but, not everyone is located in an area where it is easy to develop their own film, and it costs a lot more to send it out and stuff.

i know this because i shoot medium format and i dont have a place the develops film within 80 miles from where i live. so digital is sometimes a much easier choice and much better not having to wait multiple weeks to get developed film back to look at.



And yeah Eheath i bought a Zykkor adapter for M42 mount and it was actually really nice and was only about 8 bucks. there was no play between the lense or the camera i was impressed.

Not sure what mount minolta uses maybe the m42, and its actually the best most sturdy mount because it uses a screw thread instead of an f/mount or eos mount which a lot of aftermarket companies mess up with the locking systems and such
