Personally what I think the outcome will be from skiing in the winter olympics is it will become a lot like snowboarding. Big corporations like Target or Totino's pizza rolls will be looking to make an extra buck out of it. Yeah some of those large companies to sponsor some of our favorite athletes. But what do they do to give back to the sport? Do they have sponsored terrain parks? Do they put on and clinics to help people learn how to ski? Nope.

can't 100% confirm, but i have spoken to a few members of the Olympic Winter Institute in Australia and they have told me that slope and pipe are definitely in. But There is still a small chance they won't make it

I have decided the Olympics would stiffle the very meaning of freeskiing. All organized and shit.

How has any other type of ski content that is "organized and shit" sniffled skiing?

limited creativity. people figure out what that one winning run needs and do simply that. and that only. takes the "free-ness" out of freeskiing if only a handful of tricks will land you on the podium.

So then why was every podium run in the Vancouver Olympic Snowboard Halfpipe comp totally different?
All times are Eastern (-5)
