Atomic punx 07/08

i can pick up a pair of new atomic punx skis from a friend for $175 but they are from 07/08. Do you know if the construction has changed much? I am looking for a soft buttery ski and these seemed like they would work. Should i pull the trigger on these NS?

i don't know that model exactly, but i have had several pairs of atomics and they were all fairly stiff skis.

to my knowledge the punxs are a soft ski but i have never tried them out. can someone confirm that the 07/08 punxs are soft, light and buttery?
