If i was to dull my edges what would i use...

okay so im ordering a shit load of stuff from backcountry and these are the only two stones i found...

if i was to get the swix stone what one... soft or hard?

any help would be nice!

get the hard swix stone if you wanna do nothing but rails. If you want to do jumps to and bomb groomers get the soft one as it wont take away as much edge. I actually wouldnt reconmend detuning your edges unless you have like a race edge on their right now. Just take a brillo pad and run it along the bottom of your edge and whereever you feel the pad catch file down that burr. Also wear goggles cuz i never wore eye prtoection working on my edges and got a tiny peice fo metal in my eye i might not be able to do an MRI for my shoulder becasue of it.

I generally just use an edge file with no guide and I just round the edges under foot

I use a bastard file and only file under my boots. Run the bastard file at a angle that will take off the harsh 90 degree but not completely take out the edges.
