A few friends and I made a couple of features last night. One was just a big hip and the other was a jump up onto the roof of a building to drop off. This was just outside the residence at our college. We were using a buddies truck w/ a rope for a tow in. After hitting both jumps for a solid few hours the police showed up. Apparently someone had called them and complained (no idea why, we weren't hurting anyone or anything). The cop said that it was a $600 fine for towing people behind a vehicle. We ended up shutting everything down after that nice none of use can afford a fine...
I had no idea that towing a skier behind a vehicle in a parking lot was illegal. Does anyone have any similar tales? Or better yet, does anyone know what the law really says about towing behind vehicles?
I'm in BC by the way.
