Which Armadas?

Even though you are not skiing any pipe the pipe cleaner is still on the table...

The pipe cleaner is going to be the fastest stiffest ski of the bunch. However you will have to wax your bases more frequently. Its a great ski for bigger jumps however you should not center mount it. I am pretty sure it also still has full side walls. These skis are bomb proof like most armadas

Ar7's- These are a more all around ski. You will not have to wax the bases as much and they are still fairly stiff. These have the ar 50 sidewall which offers the bast of both worlds side wall wise. These are good for bigger jumps as well, but will not preform as well on groomers but they will be better on rails.

T-halls- These are the same exact skis and the ar7's just a bit softer. They still handle bigger jumps just fine but if you live in the midwest like me this should be your ski of choice since they slay rails because of their flex.

Alpha 1- About the same stiffness as ar7's but they have elf shoe technology. This allows them to ski shorter but give the stability of a longer ski. They are great on medium-some large jumps and are also good on rails.

Halo- Same ski as the alpha one but have flex like t-halls

**note: I did this all off the top of my head and may have switched alpha 1's and halos.

I think the Alpha 1's have the same base as the pipe cleaners so they should be very fast also.

you're a pretty big guy then, I'd forget the Halo because you lose stability with the early rise and they are fairly soft.. The Alpha 1 is stiffer and its does have benefits (less catchy, easier to butter) but i think a normal cambered ski would be more fun. T-halls are gonna be on the soft side too if you wanna ski big jumps.
Pipe Cleaner or AR7. Personally I'd never bother paying more for the Pipe Cleaner. I prefered the AR6 (AR7) anyway. Pipe Cleaners have a faster base but other than that they are pretty similar.

the ar7 has a medium stiff flex pattern in the tips and tails to handle the jumps but is still playful, the thalls are very buttery..very very jib specific ski can only really handle medium jumps but thats it. they both have the ar50 sidewall, found on the alpha and halo, (ar50 is the blend of cap and abs- the cap construction is in the tips and tails an it keeps the ski light, it lowers swing weight and adds durability to the topsheet, the abs sidewall is underfoot in which provides duability underfoot to handle rail abuse, and makes the ski forgiving by absorbing major vibrations). since the ar7 is stiffer it has more all mountain capability than the thall. armada made the thall and ar7 wider than the previous years in which makes the ski stable on rails and jumps and adds more all mountain. these two skis have armada's standard park base and is very durable. 

the pipecleaners are the limted production models that are designed for the park and mostly pipe, but it can do all, the pcs are narrower underfoot than the thall and ar7, but not by much. the pcs have a medium flex (softer than the ar7) but is still stable on jumps and is playful. this ski has the normal abs sidewall in which is quite durable( like all armadas), it can take rail abuse quite well. the other thing about this ski is the race base in which is also found on the alpha, it is a base that needs to be maintained, if well maintained it stays durable. this ski can handle the allmountain.

the alpha and the halo have the elf shoe technology( 5 dimension shape found on the jjs) in which has rocker in the tip and tail. the rocker helps in the park when hitting rails and jumps for the rocker prevents edge catch when you carve off jumps. the alpha has the same flex as the ar7 and it handles large jumps, but remains very playful do to the rocker in the tips and tails. it has the ar50 sidewall construction (ar50 is the blend of cap and abs- the cap construction is in the tips and tails an it keeps the ski light, it lowers swing weight and adds durability to the topsheet, the abs sidewall is underfoot in which provides duability underfoot to handle rail abuse, and makes the ski forgiving by absorbing major vibrations). The halo has the same shape as the alpha but unlike the alpha it has the flex of the thall in which makes it super duper playful and can handle medium jumps and jibs very well. The bases on these are different the alpha has the rase base in which is fast and if maintained it can ber very durable, the halo has the standard base in which is durable but not as fast.

Wrong.

Both the AR7s and the Halos are stiffer then the Pipe cleaners. Actually the pipe cleaners are one of the softest skis in their line.

Halo is much stiffer than the T Hall as well.

To OP, if I were you I would get either the Halo or the T - Hall. I rode the Halo last year and the only downfall that I found was its ability to carve but if you are skiing %100 park that makes no difference to you.

If you want a more traditional ski get the T - Hall. Best all around flex and it is super lightweight due to the Ar50

I for one can say that the alpha1 is deffinately stiff, if it were pressed without rocker it would be nearly as stiff as the jj.( i did flex both by hand, on a bench and standing for comparison ) anyhow, if you arent afraid to wax, go for the alpha1 or pipecleaner if you hit big jumps or gaps to rail, if youre more finesse/urban then go ar7/halo/ thall (in order of stiffness).hope that helps, above post(s) was(were?) helpful also?
