Repainting goggle frames?

So i might pick up a pair of goggles for cheap with the lens I want, but i'd like to change the frame color if possible (without buying a new one obviously). I was wondering if anyone has experience with such meddling, or has any suggestions on paint to use? I just want a plain black, and would probably just seal it with a coat of clear poly or something. any advice would be legit

yeah I have dyed like 4 pairs of crowbars, it works pretty well. Red wil definitely go to black if you use enough dye

well i'm black anyway so it's all good. now just to decide if i wanna fully murder it out, or keep the riggers or main frame red...
