Black-ops: What's the big deal?

I just played Black-ops for the first time yesterday at a friends place and I realised that its pretty much exactly the same as the one before it.(I can't recall the name) It was upon this realisation that I began to question why it is so successful and everyone is going crazy about it. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I just not into first person shooters as much as the rest of the world?

Can't find a normal lobby match unless I'm with a friend because I'm prestige and only can find prestige lobbies. WTF. The game is fucking sick so idk what your talking about my man

its way more difficult because they need to work out all the wierd shit that happens in that game.

maybe, but i used to run shit on cod then tried medal of honor and liked it way more.. check it out, it's pretty sweet, i thought the same thing until my roomate made me play it.
