unless your definition of best resort is limited exclusively to park, nowhere in north america even comes close. There's about half a dozen resorts in europe which could qualify. Val d'Isere & Tignes which together make up the Espace Killy would be my pick, but I wouldn't have a problem if someone told me Chamonix, and various other spots are the best. Depends on your criteria really but for me Val d'Isere/Tignes have it because:
Huge Vertical
Huge Area
Huge amount of epic lift-accessed terrain
Really good park
Superbly efficient lift system
Good choice of nightlife
Good snow record and high options early/late season
Lots of interesting touring/ski mountaineering options
Epic.

I saw the
thread title that was the first thing i wanted to say.
It's an amazing place on earth, the area is so diverse, there are a couple of
great parks and it’s absolutely huge. The best resort would be Avoriaz, cause
of it’s location in the center of the Portes des Soleil and it’s stunning architecture.
And the area has one of the scariest black runs ever named (very appropriately)

not sure about that logic my friend. jeremy jones, the best north american big mtn snowboarder, is from the east coast...
if you're talking big mtn there's dozens of resorts in europe that have bigger, steeper terrain than jackson, and a shitload more of it.
