Ive noticeed theres alot of people in vests lately, and its only pre season. anyone else planning on getting a vest?

seems like tom wallisch has started a new fad!

I have always worn vests, and I did buy a Saga vest. And when did Tom Wallisch wear a vest? And yes they are trendy, but that is because half the kids finally realized how useful vests/ zip off sleeves are.

I don't think I've ever worn a vest in my life. What is the point of them even? Jackets have these awesome things called sleeves that keep your arms warm and stuff they are pretty cool.

got an xl vest from h&m that looks good unzipped all the way but isn't tall enough for my layers of tall tees otherwise :(

Spring skiing? Summer skiing? Most people don't really like skiing with hoodies so a vest would come in handy in those kinds of situations.

Most people don't like skiing in hoodies? That doesn't make sense at all. People ski in hoodies all the time. In fact where I ride more people wear a combination of hoodies, basketball jerseys, and tall tees than ski jackets even when its snowing.

Not hating on people that wear vests or anything I just always kindof thought vests were for people like Carlton from the fresh prince. I didn't know they were ignant and shit now.

Mostly Mexican people actually (business names and billboards in spanish, day laborers hanging out on the corner, etc) but very few black people. Why do black people wear lots of vests or something?

Come to think of it though I've never seen a black person wear anything but a t shirt because its always 90 degrees here so I never see anyone wearing anything but a t shirt.

The people I know are all mostly anarcho punks and wear skinny jeans and patches and shit or just skate clothes. The people at Mt High just all think they are G as fuck because we got Mac Dawg on the team hahahaha. And seeing as people that ride Mt High are generally from all over LA/Long Beach I wouldn't really call Los Angeles a "white as fuck" neighborhood.

i wear my ignant vest regularly. they just look sick when you have a white tee on underneath it. some people at my school started to wear vests after i wore my ignant to school (im a trendsetter nbd). some people had some dope vests, others had american apparel ending at the waist vests

Its funny how these threads always make people feel like they have to justify their ski fashion choices with a practical explanation. Like 'I wear a vest cus its better in the spring, cus it keeps my arms from getting sweaty'. Why not just say that you wear cus you think it looks good? Fuck practicality!
