I was thinking of getting this years blends and i want to know your guys thoughts on them. good, bad, whatever, i just want to know more about them

I'm really diggin the early rise they got goin on, should come in handy in the pow..along with the wide waist.

alright, theyre good in pow. are they good for park? because when there is no pow im pretty much always in the park

if your always in park why not go with a better park ski like the afterbang or stepup? the blends are more an all mountain ski, not specifically made for the park.

but i ski pow and all mountain a lot, its just when thats not good, i ski park, and i know the afterbangs arent too great for all mountain

i extremely considered getting the marker schizo binding for the blend because it allows you to adjust the mounting whether you want it center for park or al ittle back for powder. i ended up just getting them 2 cm back and they rage through poweder. very decent purcahse

i havent skied the blends in park but when i was looking at  a pair at evo they seemed pretty thick and heavy. i dont know though.

I havent skied them yet but they seem like they would slay all mountain, and be really good for park, seems like one of the best all around skis out there. Wit Foster at windells skied them all summer and he slays. If not thease the fujas would also be sick.

Freeskier put them in their park test, and got lots of positive reviews. they are super soft though. I wish they would have kept the stiffness from last year, that with early rise would have been money

I wouldn't call them super soft, more like medium-soft. Elizabeths are super soft, Blends are not.

i have them mounted with jesters at +3 from traditional. have not skied them yet, so i am of no use. but i will most likely be skiing them tomorrow so i will let you know then. as far as just the skis themselves they are sick. pretty soft but i not bad. tip an tail rocker isnt rediculous.

just got back from skiing them. skis are a lot of fun. spec wise im 5'4'' 150lbs riding 168 with jesters mounted +3from recommended. only one trail open at my mountain in NY. nothing challanging about it at all unfortunatly. this is my first rockered ski and the fattest ski i have owned. im not in the park much if at all, usually in the trees. but anyways, as far as the skis are concerned i thought they were sick. much quicker edge to edge than i was expecting, even with the rocker. just flexing them they seemed soft which scared me a little because i have always loved stiffer skis, but once i got to ski them  they held a great edge even at speed. really easy to just crank turns out of it. ive heard some saying the ski felt heavy, i thought it was a perfect weight. it wasnt light by anymeans but it wasnt any heavier then my suspects, and still not as heavy as my racetigers. snow conditions changed thoughout the day, got to the mountain at 9:30, trail was fast but nicely groomed. really held a great edge. as the day progressed it got warmer, maybe 40-42*, snow got soft where the sun hit it the most. small bumps started to form, nothing worth skiing, but charging through them was pretty easy. overall very impressed so far. cant wait to get them in the woods and some fresh snow.
