Replying to Salomon Spk Pro sizing

Hi , I skied for a week on a pair of these babies last season in a size 28.0 it was the right size for me.
I can get a good deal on them in a size 28.5 , the tech told me (on the phone) that there is almost no difference between a size 28.0 and 28.5 except the liners having a little more volume but not really noticable.I know the shell sizes are the same.
Can anyone confirm what the tech told me or are they going to be noticably bigger?


The only near place where I can try them out is a 4 hours drive away from here.
